Because our county’s street addresses recently changed, web searches for our location are inaccurate. Searching in Google Maps for ‘10 Mitchell Creek Road’ shows you the correct road, but the wrong location. Searching for ‘Northeast Fireworks’ (in the Business tab) shows an entirely incorrect location. Mapquest and Mapblast are worse. Hopefully they will update their databases with our county’s new street addresses soon.
Northeast Fireworks is located on US Route 15 (future I-99) in North Central Pennsylvania, about 2 miles north of Tioga, PA. (Tioga is actually on PA Route 287, 10 miles south of the New York State line, but Northeast Fireworks is on US Route 15, just north of where Route 287 ends.)
From the North: When coming from the north (through New York State), all roads eventually intersect with I-86 (formerly Route 17), which runs east-west through southern New York State. I-86 intersects with US Route 15 three miles west of Corning, NY, near the center of the state. Take US Route 15 South (Exit 44) and drive south approximately 20 miles. Northeast Fireworks is on the left.
From the South: When coming from the south, all roads eventually intersect with I-80, which runs east-west through the middle of Pennsylvania. I-80 intersects with US Route 15 mid-way through the state, just south of Williamsport.
When traveling from the East on I-80, take the I-180 spur (Exit #?) to Williamsport (about 25 miles).
When traveling from the West via I-80, take US Route 220 (Exit #?) to Williamsport (about 25 miles).
From Williamsport take US Route 15 North (to Mansfield) and go north about 60 miles. Northeast Fireworks is on the right.*
*Note: as of the summer of 2007, US Route 15 is mostly a four-lane highway, but it reverts to two-lane about 6 miles south of the New York State line. Northeast Fireworks is near the southern end of this two-lane section of US Route 15, less than a mile from the start of the four-lane. This section of two-lane highway is scheduled to become four-lane in late 2008.)
